Stone Ideas for Cape Cod Homes
The right stone makes the project. These are the materials we reach for most on the Cape — chosen for how they look against cedar shingles and how they hold up to salt air and frost.

Kind Words
What Cape Cod Homeowners Say
The bluestone patio and fire pit completely changed how we use our backyard. The crew was meticulous — the joints are perfect and they left the lawn better than they found it.
They rebuilt our failing retaining wall in fieldstone and added granite steps. Two winters later it hasn't moved an inch. Communication was excellent from estimate to walkthrough.
From the first meeting they understood the look we wanted — classic Cape, nothing flashy. The cobblestone apron and walkway get compliments from every visitor.
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What areas of Cape Cod do you serve?
All of Cape Cod — including Hyannis, Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, Chatham, Sandwich, Barnstable, Falmouth, Mashpee, Orleans, Harwich and Eastham — plus the Outer Cape towns of Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard projects by arrangement.
Do you install patios and walkways?
Yes — patios and walkways are the core of our work. We install bluestone, granite, travertine and concrete pavers over properly compacted bases designed for New England freeze/thaw cycles.
Can you help choose the right stone?
Absolutely. During your consultation we bring samples and photos, explain how each material weathers near the coast, and match stone to your home's style and your budget. See our stone ideas page for a head start.
Do you build outdoor kitchens and fire pits?
Yes. We design and build stone-veneer outdoor kitchens, grill surrounds, and both wood-burning and gas fire pits — all detailed for coastal conditions and local codes.
Do you repair existing stonework?
We repair and restore settled patios, leaning walls, loose steps and failing joints. Where possible we reuse your existing stone to keep the original character.
How long does a typical project take?
Most patios and walkways take one to three weeks on site. Larger outdoor living projects with kitchens, walls and lighting typically run four to eight weeks. We confirm a schedule before work begins and keep you updated throughout.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes — we offer on-site consultations across Cape Cod. We'll walk your property, discuss ideas and materials, and follow up with a clear plan and estimate. Schedule yours here.
